I have always been a fan of wide plan shapes. They offer more planning surface for drive and stability, and the smooth, continual curves offer hold and forgiveness. Take away a few inches in length and this board can be very responsive. This is a great board for your local reef break. Also for the days when you are too lazy to ride a performance short board.
