The Ocean Avenger is a high performance grovel design. I recommend riding this model 2-4” shorter and 1 “ wider than your standard performance short board. A wider nose and tail add surface area to give the board drive in gutless conditions. The double bump wings in the tail break the outline down to add more pivot in the pocket. This board comes with a swallowtail and a 5 fin configuration so you can ride the board as a quad or a thruster. A lot of my riders like to add 4 channels in the tail to add even more drive. However, channels are not recommended in “non-glassy” conditions.
